Tom Carr (left) was awarded the University of Illinois Sleeter Bull Award at the Illinos Association of Meat Processors during their Annual Convention in Champaign, Illinois on February 27, 2010. Dr. Floyd McKeith (right) presented the award on behalf of he University of Illinois Meat Science Department. Tom Carr was recognized for his dedication to the meat processers of Illinois by conducting the IL State Fair Meat Competition and Display each year. Tom Carr also taught meats judging to thousands of 4-H and FFA Youth througout the State of Illinois. Furthermore, Tom Carr condcted the IAMP Scholarship selection process each for University of Illinois Meat Science Students. Congrulations to Tom!
